This magazine called
"Pleamar", leaves the public to remember the 25th anniversary of
founding of the Latin American Poets (ASOLAPO), which came at a
warm evening in November 1984 in the beautiful town of Urubamba,
which is the heart Sacred Valley of the Incas, bathed in
Wilcamayu, Inkan sacred river. If our thinking to go back so far
seems like a dream, how a young, beautiful figure and spirit,
decided to convene the leading bards of our America brunette, to
what was called: "1st Latin American Meeting of Poets", there
were intellectuals quality of Luis Pla Benito (director of the
literary magazine "Pliego de Murmullos" of Spain), Félix del
Carpio (president of the Writers' Union Iberoamericana, Mexico),
Julio César Mastay (founding director of the "Casa del Poeta" in
Argentine), Euler Granda (director of the House Culture of
Ecuador), Luis de la Torre Aravena (Professor of Chilean and
Latin American Literature, National University of Santiago de
Chile), Elías Sepúlveda Veloso (director of the Literary
Workshop "Plumas Serenenses and poetry festival" Gabriela
Mistral of La Serena - Chile), Jaime Choque Mata (President of
the Union of Poets of Bolivia), José Domingo Guerrero (director
of the Literary Workshop-Continental Zip-TALIPOCON of
Venezuela), Celestina Andrade de Ramos (of the Uruguayan
Association of Children's Literature) Cristina Valdivia of
Colombia Mario Florián and Eleodoro Vargas Vicuña (of ANEA -

the inspiration and careful and persistent work of the now Lic.
Luz Samanez Paz, who from that day auroral has made the
association, known by its acronym ASOLAPO, has grown throughout
the continent and We have subsidiaries in Europe and Oceania.
That's why we called this publication as "Pleamar" because it is
a symbol of unity and brotherhood and are the oceans and seas,
twin towns and continents. It is noted that in principle, be
thought of publishing an annual journal, but ASOLAPO managers
asked the Luz Samanez Paz founding president, to give preference
to editing anthologies, to publicize the literary production of
our partners, as has been done, and we express it with
legitimate pride, has published over twenty books, which are the
focus inherent part of who we are handed over to the cultivation
of the highest expressions of the spirit.
Are not only poet members but, at the request of the
same is composed also writers and artists. So three great giants
of literature as Gabriel García Márquez (Colombia), José
Saramago (Portugal), Nobel laureates and Mario Vargas Llosa
(Peru), have agreed to be our advisors, collaborating with his
intellectual encouragement, making us all overcome and sing
constantly hymn of sincere friendship and sublime culture.
That's why we deliver the magazine, which is really the
last 9 other original publications of the institution. We do
know that fraternity and progress are synonymous with culture
and with the conviction that the more work for overcoming these
desires, the greater will our actions around the world. |
