1. Include all poets, writers and artists from around the continent, seeking its organizational development and fostering closer relations and brotherhood with the poets of America and the world, with writers and artists in general, to disseminate their creations and searching publicity for their work.
2. Achieve the creation of a backlist, with input from partners, from national and international institutions, engaged in dissemination of culture.
3. To promote the institutional building of the headquarters of the association in each of the member countries to be allocated to cultural and dissemination of poetry.
4. Organize events such as meetings, conferences, poetry festivals, in each of the member countries in order to spread the poetry and the values that represent and embody.
5. Promote the establishment of a Relief Fund for the intellectuals who require the solidarity of their colleagues.
6. All others are necessary to achieve "integration" established poets from Latin America, Europe and Oceania and the strengthening of each of its subsidiaries.
7. Establish international awards, national and regional, that distinguish a brilliant intellectual and artistic path.
8. Propose candidates for the international awards: "Nobel", "Principe de Asturias", "MiguelCervantes", "RómuloGallegos" etc.
9. Promote international relations with similar institutions worldwide character.

11. ASOLAPO can further your character by cultural entity, recruit writers, painters, sculptors, songwriters, composers and theater in general all expressions of art.
12. ASOLAPO actions are intended to encourage and cultivate the art in childhood and youth, encouraging and organizing workshops primarily literary and artistic.
13. The creation of the Medal to the Cultural Trajectory of our most outstanding writers of verse, with which it will honor the "trilogy" to a set of American poet dark, a renowned local bard and the bard who is deserving of that medal.
14. All agreements of the subsidiaries of the Latin American Association of Poets, Writers and Artists-ASOLAPO, will reach the Latin American Board for final approval.
15. Only valid national and international level, enrollment in ASOLAPO Public Records, based in Cusco - Peru, for the support of member firms of the Directive and partners from different countries, which give the Latin American character. It will only be valid Inscribed by the founding president of the institution, María Luz Samanez Paz, as the "Alma Mater".
